"Ribbon Dancer" Floor Sculpture
Carved from a long Juniper log, this sculpture featured waves, bends and curves. It stood approximately 6ft tall on a Pinyon Pine pedestal. One side of the sculpture was textured for a different element and the pedestal was also textured. This sculpture found a home with a fellow artist.
Scott carving Ribbon Dancer. This great black and white photo was taken by Atalanta Kirk at the AZ Fine Art Expo.
Olive Ribbon was carved from, yes, Olive. Scott carefully incorporated the natural elements of the wood into ribbon. The base was carved into the piece as well.
Claro Walnut Ribbon was carved from a Claro Walnut log. It features textured copper patina on one side and turns on a stone base.
Blue and Grey Mini Ribbon. We started carving mini ribbons because we kept getting people asking us for smaller items. Each mini ribbon is carved from a block of dyed plywood. Scott carves each one into a unique shape to show off the colors. They stand about 14" tall. Check out our current inventory to see all the colors and shapes available.
