This incredible wall sculpture is carved from beautiful Buckeye Burl. Getting a burl this size is unusual and with this much figure in it, makes it a real prize. Gentle sweeps were carved around the piece, using grinders, to carefully follow the flow of the natural edges. It resembles a headdress or crown and thus the name.
