Carved from Alligator Juniper, the chainsaw roughs out the shape then grinders finish up the design and smooths it out. The large natural openings that occurred during the carving process were inlaid with various colors, sizes and shapes of Dichroic Glass. Then the smaller cracks were inlaid with turquoise. It stands on a black base.
